Mitsubishi Electric will release two types of industry-first* duct ventilators equipped with CO2 sensors in Japan on November 16. The sensor detects CO2 concentration fluctuation in crowded places and ventilates the room by automatically switching to high air volume. Conversely, it will save energy by cutting down on air volume when fewer people are present.
In response to the spread of #COVID19, restaurants and shops are urgently trying to reduce the risk of infection clusters. We hope to support safer economic activity by improving the ventilation of closed spaces.
